To continue a family tradition of philanthropic giving through financial donations and volunteerism to our communities from generation to generation. To help support quality non-profit organizations which better the lives of those with needs living in Northwest Florida.
Our Board
The Bear Family Foundation Board of Directors is made up of eight family members from the Lewis Bear Jr family. The two generation board includes the foundation Principal, Lewis Bear Jr. and wife Belle Yates Bear. Other members of the board are the direct decendents of Lewis and Belle, and their spouses, Lewis Bear III and wife, Jennifer Taylor Bear; David Morris Bear and wife, Cindi F. Bear; and Cindi Bear Bonner and husband, Joseph Chadwick Bonner.
The Bear Family Foundation derives its reputation from a longtime family business, The Lewis Bear Company, located in Pensacola, Florida.
